Mooring Basics

What:

• A mooring generally consists of a concrete block, hairpin, chain, shackles, mooring ball, and pennants
• This system as a whole is the personal property of each mooring holder

Who:

• The Harbormaster's Office is responsible for who is allowed to have a mooring

Where:

• The Harbormaster's Office is responsible for where moorings are allowed to go

How:

• As your mooring provider, we are responsible for how
• We ensure that your mooring is where it is supposed to be and that your entire system meets both regulatory and industry standard safety conditions
